Happy New Year~

First of all I want to say Happy New Year everyone, I hope you have/had a wonderful New Years day~! Mine wasn't all that great because I had work...well...have since I work tomorrow too. But I never do anything anyway so it doesn't really matter anyway....and I always stay up past midnight so its nothing special. Anyway I'm going to make a bigger journal so I'll split it up like I have been doing so you can skip to the good parts if ya want.

Highlights of the Year
Incase you missed it, I was finally able to get a job~ I work at the Produce department in a local grocery store. Its a really good job for me because I love organizing and thats what I mainly do all day. I get along well with my co-workers and some of the other workers there (I only count my department workers as my co-workers, then there is department neighbors and the rest are others.). I have been working there 3 months already so I'll be getting my first raise by my next paycheck! No more minimum wage for me. One of my co-workers I bonded with right away and I quickly made him my best friend, he's the only one I can really talk to other than my family.

The Bad things of the Year
My Dad died in March suddenly and its been hard without him, I miss him so much. We didn't know what we would do about the bills and the house (I didn't have to move though, Yay~) and everything because we didn't have jobs. On top of that my dog Oreo died a few months (Well it might have been a month afterwards because I think it was April) after my dad died so it was extra hard on me. My brothers dog died as well a few months after mine did. And then there was the news about Robin Williams and who could not be sad about that, he was awesome. Too much death this year. One of the worst things about work is that I'm so shy/quiet/timid that I'm practically invisible when there is a bigger group of people. They either ignore me or comment on how quiet I am. I really wish I could take my break with someone I like.

Christmas
Christmas was awesome this year, my family all had jobs so we wanted a bigger christmas this year! I decorated the tree which was a red and gold theme~ I always theme it with a color scheme when I decorate it (I like to be organized). So my sis splurged and got my brother and I a PS4 so we got a few games for it (Even though they dont have alot of good games out yet) and now my computer desk is looking awesome with my figures of Levi (Attack on Titan) and Izaya (Durarara!!) plus she got me a really nice figure of Link as well. Being the huge Zelda fan I am you can only imagine how happy that made me...well with all of them really. But everyone opening up their presents and seeing them happy and excited made me really happy. It makes the pain of shopping for them all worth it. And I hope to do it again next year, maybe it'll be bigger and better! But yay for no more christmas music...I hate like 99% of it.

Art Wise
I still have to finish up my Secret Santa pictures, I had to work alot this week so that threw me off but I've been working on them and hopefully they'll be done soon. I also owe art to Atica, Anna, Aisa, SA, Hanafae and a few more. I haven't forgotten about them I'm just being slow. Most of them are already drawn and just need coloring. With all I do after work it usually only leaves me a few hours to draw and do things on the computer. I will be using my days off to finish everything so I can start fresh for the rest of the year. I have a bunch of tribute art for some of my favorite series plus a few more fun things coming up so you can look forward to that. ^-^
